The NorthStar Youth Forum is dedicated to the pursuit of hockey
and Figure Skating
Our Mission
The NorthStar Youth Forum is a non profit organization
that is dedicated to the promotion of the sports of hockey and figure skating. Some
of the Objectives and Purposes of NorthStar Youth Forum are:
- To promote the sports of hockey, figure skating, and other
related sports.
- To encourage friendly relations with other communities
which are interested in similar sports.
- To insure the sound management of the buildings and
properties owned by the Northboro Youth Hockey Program, Inc.
Company Profile
Northboro Youth Hockey Program was incorporated in 1970 as a non profit
charitable organization. In September of 1976 the Northboro Youth Hockey program
purchased the Westboro Ice Arena and changed the name to NorthStar Youth Forum.
Since that time, this twin rink complex has provided our community with hockey and figure
skating programs.
The NorthStar Youth Forum is a member of the Northeast Ice Skating Managers
Association (NEISMA), the Ice Skating Institute (ISI) and the United States Figure Skating
Association (USFSA).
General Manager:
- Craig Boutilier - Born in Northboro MA, Craig has
been involved as a player, coach, and employee for twenty eight years. Better known
as "Bout", Craig is a graduate of
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI '81).
Shortly after his graduation he became head coach at Algonquin Regional High
School, a position he held for eight seasons. Craig then moved on to Framingham
State College as an assistant coach. Craig runs several hockey camps throughout the
year with particular emphasis on all necessary skills to play and enjoy the game.
He also coaches local high school players during their off season.

Figure Skating Director:
- Denise Marco Pierce - Born
in Worcester, MA, Denise has been involved in figure skating for 30 years first as a
competitive figure skater and then as a Professional Skating Coach. She
graduated from Anna Maria College in 1984 and in 1985 she became the Skating
Director for the Central Mass Skating School. She assisted in the formation of the
North Star Figure Skating Club in 1987. She is currently involved in teaching skaters who
are at the Basic Skills Level through Senior Ladies Competitors, including a Disney On Ice
skater. Denise has attained Professional Skating Ratings in Senior Group,
Certified Figures and Freestyle and Registered Figures. Once a year she produces
and directs the CMSS Annual Skating Show.
